The California Cleantech “Game Changer of the Year” Awards have been established by Grow-California to annually honor up to 15 of the state’s most innovative Cleantech businesses that are positively impacting California’s Cleantech industry and the state economy. The coveted awards are presented by California and U.S. officials during a special luncheon occurring as part of the inaugural California Cleantech Innovation conference occurring November 2-3 at the Kaiser Center in downtown Oakland. Award categories also exist for investors, universities and nonprofit organizations successfully advancing cleantech innovation in California.

The awards come in the form of official State of California resolutions signed by Assemblyman V. Manuel Perez, Chair of the Assembly Committee on Jobs, Economic Development and the Economy. Certificates of Appreciation signed by the Assembly Committee Chairman will also be presented to 25 other companies who are selected as finalists and members of the elite annual “California Cleantech Top 40”. Over 300 nominations are expected.
